During the course of the opening reception and regular gallery hours, artist Christa Von Sydow will premiere her new body of work entitled, Your Just Being A Bannana. Von Sydow’s performance will entail integrating herself in the everyday function of the gallery space while geared in a hairy body suit and peddling activities and guidance to gallery visitors.

UCR Sweeney Art Gallery presents Shameless Self Promotion, the annual senior thesis exhibition in two parts with works by thirty-nine graduating Bachelor of Arts students from University of California, Riverside’s Department of Art, and features a variety of media that include painting, drawing, video, sculpture, and performance.
