Dan Froot: Who’s Hungry?

Dan Froot (Los Angeles, World Arts & Cultures) Faculty

Who’s Hungry? combines the disciplines of oral history and toy-theater to create performances that illuminate the humanistic dimensions of food insecurity in West Hollywood, CA. The collecting of life stories of four West Hollywood residents coping with chronic hunger and/or food insecurity is vital to the process. Who’s Hungry? will culminated in the performance of four short toy-theater plays, adapted from the oral histories.
