The University of California Institute for Research in the Arts supports embedded arts research through critical exchange

UCSB CHAMBER CHOIR & WOMEN’S CHORUS NOV. 22, 8PM

The virtuosic UCSB Chamber Choir, led by Michel Marc Gervais, Conductor, performs a second program of transcriptions for 8-16 voices of works by Bach, Schubert, Schumann, Wolf, and Grieg. The Women’s Chorus, Luvi Avendano, Conductor, performs Brahms’ Vier Gesange, Op. 17 for harp and two French Horns, and Eric Whitacre’s Five Hebrew Love Songs for equal voices and strings. All in the outstanding acoustics of St. Anthony’s Seminary Chapel.
