The Role of the Teaching Artist in Education – Arts & Architecture 101 (4 units)
Dates:
Summer Session A: June 23 – August 1, 2014
Location: 2101 Broad Art Center, UCLA
Monday and Wednesday: 9am-noon
This UCLA course provides artist educators with the opportunity to deepen their arts education pedagogy through an intensive summer experience and explore a range of topics relevant to teaching artists in the current social and political climate. The format of the course will include guest instructors representing excellence in the field, required readings, class discussions and microteaching activities.
