The University of California Institute for Research in the Arts supports embedded arts research through critical exchange

UCIRA Artist Jennifer Parker Selected to present at the Common Wealth Club to San Francisco Mayoral Candidates this Thursday

UCIRA Artist Jennifer Parker has beenĀ  working with Gray Area Foundation for the Arts in San Francisco and more recently with their new initiative: Summer of Smart:Democracy in the Digital Age.

Their project group, PublicArtSpaces was fortunate to be selected as one of the winning teams to present at the Common Wealth Club to San Francisco Mayoral Candidates this Thursday, October 6, 6-9pm.

Please join Jennifer in learning more about the Mayoral candidates and listen to the other Summer of Smart Initiative winners as the first residence in GAFFTA’s new Civic Residency Program presenting their innovative ideas using technology, open data, and new ways of thinking about the city.
