Professor Larry Bogad will be performing in InsTED Talks at Yerba Buena Arts Center in San Francisco on 11/23.

YBCA invites you to participate in a free one-day interactive festival in conjunction with the Dissident Futures visual arts exhibit in our Downstairs Gallery. The festival will bring our communities together to explore and investigate possible futures envisioned by artists, urban planners, environmentalists, scientists, robotic experts, designers, programmers, and food activists through dynamic workshops, lectures, performances, interactive media, music, and more. Saturday Nov. 23, 2013, Noon-9pm at YBCA, 701 Mission Street, San Francisco. Free with RSVP.

A theatre professor at the University of California at Davis, L. M. Bogad is an author, performer, and the founding Director of the Center for Artistic Activism/West Coast. He writes, performs, and strategizes with mischievous artists such as the Yes Men, Agit-Pop, and La Pocha Nostra. He is a veteran of the Lincoln Center Theatre Director’s Laboratory and a co-founder of the Clandestine Insurgent Rebel Clown Army. He has performed recently in Helsinki, Sao Paulo, New York, Prague, on a squatted military base in Barcelona, and in Cairo during the first month of the Revolution. He is the world’s best, worst, and only Economusican.
