AUDITIONS:
DETAINED IN THE DESERT  a play by Josefina Lopez

This satirical drama explores the anti-immigrant atmosphere in Arizona, the rise in violence against Latinos fueled by extremist media, and the plight of undocumented immigrants.

Needed: 15 actors
Requirements: You will be given a cold reading or you may bring a prepared monologue.
Open to UCR students only. Cast members must enroll in THEA 170.

Read-through: Sept 30
Rehearsals begin: Oct 3
Production Runs: Nov 10-12 & 17-19  (7 performances)

Clothing: Simple, businesslike; flat shoes; hair back and away from face.
Reading Copies: Reserve Book Room at Rivera Library

Parking: Permits available at the Information Kiosk

Open to: Students and Graduate Students Only
Admission: Free
