The two-to-one unrestricted general operating support challenge grants are designed to encourage organizations to engage their donors and diversify their funding sources. Grantees include Family Supportive Housing ($143,000), Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco ($184,500), InnVision Shelter Network ($512,500), JobTrain, Inc. “We’ve prioritized [general operating support] grants for years, recognizing that unrestricted support is essential to the stability, livelihood and growth of our community’s organizations,” said Sobrato Family Foundation CEO Rick Williams. “This long-term, single-region focus means we’ve built trust in the community and deeply understand our region’s needs.”
