Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum presents smART Salons: Curators’ Roundtable

What guidelines do curators follow to create exhibitions, and what is their selection process for inviting artists to exhibit work? During Artist Professional Development month at CAF, smART Salons presents a panel discussion that addresses the role of curators today. Three Santa Barbara curators will share their insights about the roles of the curator in their respective institutions. Panelists include Susan Bush, Curator of Contemporary Art at Sullivan Goss an American Gallery; Dane Goodman, artist and former Director of the Atkinson Gallery at Santa Barbara City College; and Judy Larson, Curator at Westmont Ridley-Tree Museum of Art.
