San Francisco Friends of Chamber Music Seek Applications From Greater Bay Area Music Community for Musical Grant Program

The San Francisco Friends of Chamber Music has announced the third cycle of theist 2010 Musical Grant Program, a funding opportunity for professional ensembles, composers, and presenters in the Bay Area.

The SFFCM Musical Grant Program will award grants to musicians with outstanding projects in support of their artistic and career needs. The program aims to foster a diverse range of music performances and projects, from early and classical music to jazz, experimental, and contemporary forms.

The program is open to presenters and professional ensembles, including ensembles commissioning new works. Applicant organizations should have annual budgets under $100,000 and reside and work in the twelve counties of the greater Bay Area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Sacramento, Solano, and Sonoma).

Between twenty and thirty grants of up to $3,000 each will be awarded in this funding round.
