Please join us in celebrating the accomplishments of the UC Davis Art of Regional Change Program (ARC) and its program director jesikah maria ross on Thursday, November 29th from 4:30 – 6:30p in 126 Voorhies Hall on the UC Davis Campus. ARC launched in 2008 as an interdisciplinary, cross-college initiative and
that brought students, scholars and artists together with community based
on organizations to collaborate on media arts projects that strengthen
communities, generate engaged scholarship, and inform regional
decision-making. Since then ARC has involved hundreds of regional
residents from the High Sierra mountains to the streets of West Sacramento
in creating media that explores issues and develops solutions for the
places they live. All ARC media is archived at
http://artofregionalchange.ucdavis.edu/.

The ARC program ends this fall and it’s sponsors, the Davis Humanities
Institute and the Center for Regional Change, invite you to come enjoy
refreshments and share stories as we wrap up this successful and unique
university-community engagement initiative.
