
Performance and Crisis Symposium at UC Davis
What: Northern California Performance Platform is a symposium bringing together faculty, graduate students and arts practitioners from around the region to connect, share research and engage in dialogue concerning urgent conceptual and practical issues at play in the field of Performance Studies.

Where: Wright Hall, UC Davis
The Northern California Performance Platform is a one-day symposium that brings together faculty, graduate students and arts practitioners from around the region to connect, share research and engage in dialogue concerning urgent conceptual and practical issues at play in the field of Performance Studies. This year’s Platform, themed around “Performance and Crisis,” is hosted by UC Davis Performance Studies graduate group and will take place on Friday, April 12, at Wright Hall. The event will include a morning keynote panel, afternoon praxis sessions and evening performances. The Platform is co-chaired by Performance Studies doctoral candidates Sampada Aranke and Josy Miller and is open to the public.
