About Nuestra Voz: Funded by UCIRA in 2009, Nuestra Voz is a multicultural play-writing and performance summer program which pairs UCSB undergraduates with underserved and predominantly first-generation Latino students ages 10-15 who live in Isla Vista, the community adjacent to UCSB. The Nuestra Voz program is an important and beneficial enhancement to the learning experiences of both UCSB undergraduates and students from the Isla Vista community.
