Chamber Music America

CMA supports members through grants, professional development programs, and awards for excellence in the field.
Residencies
CMA's Residency Partnership Program encourages collaborative residencies that bring live ensemble music and audience-engagement activities to rural, urban, and suburban audiences.
Commissioning
Member ensembles and presenters may apply to the Commissioning Program for support in commissioning new chamber works and the New Works: Creation and Presentation program for compositions in the jazz idiom.
Jazz
Programs designed specifically for jazz members are the New Works: Creation and Presentation, CMA/FACE French American Jazz Exchange, and New Works: Encore Programs.
Awards
CMA administers several awards recognizing extraordinary achievement in the chamber music field.
Professional Development
Offerings include a wide variety of seminars and workshops held at CMA's offices in New York City and at other venues around the nation, as well as private consultations with CMA staff. Professional education opportunities are also offered through the Education and Residency Institutes and at CMA's annual National Conference.
