Software installations, lecture/demonstrations, and presentation of musical works at the UCB Center for New Music and Audio Technologies (CNMAT) and the UCSD Department of Music. The goal is to introduce powerful new music composition tools — Ircam’s Sample Orchestrator System — to UC students, faculty and researchers. The new system will be especially useful for composition students interested in advanced orchestration techniques.
