Two new back-to-back choreographies by graduating Master of Fine Arts candidates Folawole and Kevin O’Connor. O’Connor’s work fuses live vocal, music, dance and aerial rope circus arts in an examination of what community means in contemporary society. Folawole’s new work will exploring his question, “Will we accept or perplex possibilities for a powerful playful present?”

Kevin O’Connor is a choreographer, dancer, circus artist and performance artist who has performed around the world and received numerous commissions to create and develop his circus and dance pieces. His new work will fuse live vocal, music, dance and circus arts. Kevin and his collaborators will examine what community means in contemporary society and are inspired by the writings of the mathematical cosmologist Brian Swimme.
