The UCLA VAPAE Multigenerational Afterschool Arts (MASA) Program expands afterschool arts curriculum at the UCLA Community School (UCS), deepens parent and community engagement at the school site, and extends the partnership between UCLA VAPAE and UCS. VAPAE Teaching Artists offer 8 afterschool arts sessions per quarter to approximately 25 UCS 6th graders and their parents, providing the parent arts facilitators with a unique opportunity to develop and lead their own art-making sessions.
