Eve Elizabeth Warnock: Feast and Flight

Eve Elizabeth Warnock (UC Santa Cruz): $2,500 for Feast and Flight. Graduate Arts Grant

FEAST AND FLIGHT are the last two films in the series of five experimental films titled Seekago, directed by Eve Warnock. Both films can be shot at the same time, as the stage, set, and costumes work in tandem. The films are performance based with a focus on storytelling through costume, set, sound, movement, and projection. There is no verbal narrative. The concept behind FEAST is to explore the relationship between human and environment ecologies through mimicking scavenger bird behaviors as well as human social eating behaviors. FLIGHT explores the transcendence of the physical body into the soul’s journey to Nirvana.
