Elizabeth Stephens: Pollination

Elizabeth Stephens (UCSC) (Performance Practice and Research): $10,000 for Pollination.

Pollination will be a participatory “pop-up” performance project staged in various sites throughout California-rural nature sites, arts centers, and community colleges – using performance practice to germinate alternative visions about ecological futures. Encouraging audiences to develop a sustainable, more pleasurable and less destructive relationship with the Earth, it will provide new, alternative approaches to current thinking about global ecological crises, environmental art, and activism.
