ARTS in the CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR’S RACE (ACGR) project

California Arts Advocates is proud to introduce you to the ARTS in the CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR’S RACE (ACGR) project - an initiative to insert the arts into the California gubernatorial campaigns.

Created by a statewide consortium of arts leaders and organizations, this initiative is aimed at educating and informing the candidates for Governor of the value and importance of the nonprofit arts sector and arts education to California’s future.

We need your help to make this effort succeed. Read the Agenda for California’s Creative Future at the ACGR website to discover the vision for this project. And know that there will be many ways you can be part of this historic effort over the next few months.

What we need from you immediately to ensure the project’s success is your financial support. We have to raise an additional $25,000 to cover the costs of engaging in this kind of campaign. Please consider making a $10 contribution through the website and join your colleagues across the state in elevating the needs and concerns of our field so we are positioned strongly for the coming decade in California.

Simply going to the ACGR website and clicking on the donate icon is an easy way to make your voice heard in this important election. Or you can make a check payable to the California Arts Advocates (please write Arts in the California Gov. Race in the memo line) and send it to: 1663 Mission St. #525, San Francisco, CA 94103*.

Please share this email with all of those who care about the future of the arts in California.  For more information, please visit http://caarts.org/

Thank you on behalf of the California Arts Advocates Board and ACGR  Steering Committee!
