Arts for LA Announces New Strategic Plan

originally posted by Arts for LA

CAA partner organization Arts for LA recently released their strategic plan for 2013-2017. This is the second strategic plan for the organization, which was incorporated in 2006.

The strategic plan encompasses some major changes. The organization wants to shift its identity from an arts service association to a public cause. To that end, it plans to recruit board members from fields outside the arts in order to broaden its support base.

It also wants to expand its impact in order to better serve the whole Los Angeles region. Three new positions will be created, including a full-time advocacy field manager, full-time development director and a full-time volunteer/administrative coordinator.

The strategic plan also reaffirms the organization’s mission to foster a healthy environment in which arts and culture may thrive and be accessible to all in Los Angeles County.
