The Auburn Arts Commission Seeks Artists for The Second Annual Auburn Arts in the Park Saturday May 18, 2013

WHO: We’re looking for: Visual fine artists in all media.

WHAT: Auburn Arts in the Park, a one-day visual and performing arts festival. The festival will include local artists selling their work, musical and dance performances, strolling musicians, actors portraying famous artists, art demonstrations, art-related activities for children, and wine/beer & food booths. In 2012 we had 840 people attend the show. This year’s show will be bigger and better!

WHERE: Auburn School Park Preserve, located at 55 College Way, between High Street and Lincoln Way, in Auburn, California.

WHEN: Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. (Setup from 8:00 am to 10:45 am.)

WHY: The festival is organized by the Auburn Arts Commission to foster and promote the visual and performing arts in Auburn.

Where do YOU come in? We need local artists to make the event a success. For $30, participating artists will receive a 10’x10’ outdoor exhibit space to showcase and sell their work.
