Submission process
-Submit your artwork electronically at www.OnlineJuriedShows.com. Format images in TIFF, BMP, JPG, or PNG, no less than 800 pixels long.
-A tutorial on how to submit is available on the How OJS Works page. Directions on how to photograph your work and properly size images can be found on the Help page.
Entry Fee and payment
Members: $25 for 2 entries, $5 for each additional entry. Non-members: $35 fro 2 entries, $10 for each additional entry.
SELECTION NOTIFICATION
Wednesday, March 19th, 2014 by email. Award winners are announced at First Friday, April 4th event.
Exhibition guidelines
-Open to all artists residing in the U.S.
-All media except film, video, or installation.
-All work must be labeled on the front and back with artist’s name, title, medium, size and price.
-All work must be original and not previously exhibited at Pacific Art League.
-All work must be ready to hang with proper hanging device.
-All work must be for sale. Members receive 70% commission. Non-members receive 60%.
-Size of work limited to 40” on longest side, including frame.
About the jurors
After years working as an industrial designer, Ed Lucey is now a full-time, dedicated artist living in the Bay Area. He is represented by Voshan Fine Arts Gallery (Palo Alto), Connexions Gallery (Sausalito), Allegro Gallery (Portola Valley), Valley Art Center (Walnut Creek), and the Museum of Los Gatos Gallery.
Before retiring in 1989, Maralyn Miller owned and operated three art supplies and framing stores in Mountain View, Sunnyvale and San Jose. She now devotes herself full-time to painting, operating a studio in Fresno. She is represented by Valley Art Center (Walnut Creek), Los Gatos Co., and Galley Saratoga (Saratoga); and her work has been published in Art of Northern California and American Art Collector.
