Artist Call – Soapbox, 2014 Juried Exhibition

For SF Bay Area artists

Berkeley Art Center is seeking submissions for Soapbox, the 2014 Juried Exhibition. We invite artists to submit work that represents, challenges or incites us to get up on our soapboxes and share our ideas, our passions, and our intentions to change the world. Submissions can also be work inspired by someone else’s soapbox. How are you moved to action? How do you move others to action? BAC is seeking work that is activated, and positions the viewer to participate in the rapidly changing social, political, economical and artistic fields.

We are thrilled to have two distinguished figures as jurors for the 2014 Juried Exhibition. Boots Riley is an artist, activist and musician and Steven Wolf is owner of the venerable San Francisco gallery, Steven Wolf Fine Arts.
