Artist Call – Party Like It’s 1922! Art Auction & Gala

For SF Bay Area artists

Each September, art lovers and collectors from around the Bay Area flock to one of Benicia’s most exciting and entertaining fundraising events, Arts Benicia’s Art Auction & Gala. This year’s Great Gatsby themed auction will again be held in Benicia’s historic Clock Tower. The evening will include live music, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, Michael Van Auken’s outrageous and popular photo corner and an exciting live art auction, this year followed by dancing! The Rellik Tavern will be pouring and we are expecting a big crowd.

The event’s success depends on you. If you donate 100% of the proceeds of your artwork, you and one guest will receive complimentary tickets to the event. You may also choose to donate 75% of the proceeds. The Auction is Arts Benicia’s most important fundraiser of the year.

We are asking artists to submit up to three artwork images, one of which will be selected for the auction by jury. Please contribute to this worthy cause. You will be helping Arts Benicia continue to provide high quality exhibitions, classes and workshops for both children and adults in our community.

Arts Benicia will be heavily promoting this event throughout the Bay Area, inviting curators and collectors to attend. Arts Benicia patrons have a reputation for generosity and we expect a significant proportion of the artwork to sell. Don’t miss this valuable opportunity to gain exposure for your artwork while helping to support Arts Benicia’s mission.
