Artist Call- Exhibition Opportunity

For SF Bay Area artists

ArtSpace at the Women’s Health Resource Center is currently seeking applications from Bay Area artists to host an exhibition of their work. There are 3 open slots for 2014. The goal of ArtSpace is to create a welcoming environment for patients and staff and to provide a venue for local artists to share their work with the community.

The current program began in 2008, following a long-standing informal exhibition program nurtured by local artists involved with the Center. The program has formalized into a rotating exhibition schedule that changes three times each year. The average exhibition length is 3.5 months.

The Center is open every day of the week to the public (M-F 9:30 – 1:00; 2:00 – 4:30; Sat/Sun 10:00 – 2:00). This affords every opportunity for visitors to see the exhibition.

The Center does not take proceeds from the sale of the artwork but there are some minimal costs associated with installing the show. We host a reception during the exhibition and publicize it in various newsletters, online lisitngs and on our website. Please contact us for an application and more details.
