Artist Call – Attitudinal Healing Connection is looking for a Mural Assistant

For SF Bay Area artists

Oakland Super Heroes Mural Project

The Attitudinal Healing Connection (AHC), a non-profit organization, is looking for local artists to assist in painting the Hoover Corridor Neighborhood’s second mural project. The Oakland Super Heroes Mural project is a series of six murals to be painted underneath 580 in West Oakland. Using the theme of super heroes, the murals are designed by local students and are intended to uplift and positively transform the neighborhood. This is a call for local artists interested in community based public art projects that contribute to revitalizing West Oakland.

Qualifications:

-Must be over 18 years of age
-Must have previous mural painting experience
-MUST CARE! Be passionate about social justice & want to create positive change
-Experience working with youth is a plus

Compensation: $100-$125/day
