Artist Call – Art In Your Park Public Art

The City of Milpitas Public Art Committee is requesting qualifications from eligible artists for the commissioning of a site specific work for Cardoza Park, in the city of Milpitas. Cardoza Park is one of Milpitas largest and most highly used parks. The park is located close to the beautiful Milpitas hills and is surrounded by the city’s many youth sports fields. It is also home to the recreation summer Day Camp and Adult Sports Softball Program.

The Committee is encouraging a variety of approaches to this project. Themes for this project that are of interest to the Cardoza Park neighborhood are: interactive, colorful, nature, and sports.
