2013 Wild & Scenic Film Festival Art Exhibition: A Climate of Change, January 4-14, 2013.

Nevada County Arts seeks submissions featuring art on the theme of climate change and/or change makers who are helping rethink how we inhabit our planet. In conjunction with the film festival more than 30 businesses, galleries and cafes in Nevada City and Grass Valley will provide venues for the display and sales of the works of art.

SYRCL’s 11th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival returns January 11-13, 2013 with an international selection of environmental and adventure films. The festival brings top filmmakers, celebrities, leading activists, social innovators and well-known world adventurers to Nevada County for three days of film screening, workshops, music, wine tasting and art. More than 1,000 attend the festival and related events.

Jury Awards: $250/each for Best in Show, Best in Theme, Best Emerging Artist
Entry deadline: November 9, 2012
Eligibility and Media: Open to all artists 18 and older. All media suitable for indoor installation are appropriate. Few outdoor venues will be available.

Entry Fee: A non-refundable entry fee of $30 per artist ($20 for NCArts members) is required for up to three entries.

Image Requirements: Submit up to three digital images per artwork. All images must be in digital jpeg format in high resolution (300 dpi). Each image must include artist’s name, title of work, size and media. Send Artist Statement (200 words or less) and digital images to
