An intimate portrait of world-renowned graffiti artist Keith Haring — whose mantra was “Art is for everyone!” — this film features interviews and archival footage of Fab 5 Freddy, Grace Jones, Madonna, Yoko Ono, David LaChapelle, Jeffrey Deitch, Andy Warhol and others.

3 PM   Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child

(Tamra Davis, 2010, 93 min.)

Centered around a rare interview shot more than 20 years ago with the director, this definitive film chronicles the meteoric rise and fall of the cult artist, including his street-art origins in 1970s New York City, his friendship with Andy Warhol, heroin addiction and more.
