“The course of true love never did run smooth.”
Hermia wants to marry Lysander instead of Demetrius. Helena wants to marry Demetrius and kill Lysander. Oberon, King of the Fairies, wants to punish his estranged wife Titania. Bottom just woke up with a donkey’s head, while Pyramus and Thisbe end up dead. And Puck… likes to make a mess of things. Shakespeare’s classic ode to mad, magical, complicated love is brought to hilarious life in honor of the Bard’s 450th birthday.
